NEW in 2024! Art Camp – Brittany Byrne, Instructor
(Two sessions: Week 1 & Week 2)

Embark on an artistic journey at our BRAND NEW Art Camp! Dive into a hands-on experience where you'll unleash your imagination, learn essential artistic techniques, and craft your own masterpieces. From brushing up on foundational skills to exploring exciting artistic processes, this camp promises not only a brush with creativity but also heaps of artistic excitement. Join us for an unforgettable week filled with artistic adventures, new friendships, and the joy of self-expression. Art Camp is where young artists come to flourish, so grab your paintbrushes, don your smocks, and let the artistry begin!


Baking Prep Camp – Mike Cesarski & Nicole Pearson, Instructor

Join the cupcake adventure for young bakers in grades 2-4! If you're too young for Cupcake Wars camp but eager to dive into the world of baking fun, this class is perfect for you. Get ready for a hands-on experience where you'll master kitchen safety, learn the ins and outs of baking equipment, whip up delicious cupcake batter, and unleash your creativity in decorating. From honing your measuring skills to discovering the exciting sequence of baking events, this course promises tasty treats and loads of excitement. It's the ultimate baking journey for our budding bakers!


Band Camp – Bill Bonnell, Instructor
(One session: Weeks 3-5)

Get ready to turn up the musical heat at our Band Camp Extravaganza! If you've ever rocked out in your school band, this is the ultimate summer destination for you. Join fellow music maestros for a week of tunes, laughter, and unforgettable camaraderie. *Students should have played in the school band. This is a 3 week camp.


Chess Camp – Bill Bonnell, Instructor
(Two sessions: Week 3 & Week 4)

It's the ultimate destination to level up your skills, boost your chess prowess, and, most importantly, have a blast with an awesome group of fellow enthusiasts. Whether you're just starting out or already a seasoned player, there's a spot for everyone in this chess adventure. Get ready to make your move and experience the thrill of strategic play, camaraderie, and loads of fun – because at Chess Camp, every move counts, and every moment is a chance to shine!

Cupcake Wars Camp: Grades 5-8 - Mike Cesarski & Nicole Pearson, Instructors

Get ready for a pint-sized edition of the epic Cupcake Wars, just like the ones you see on the Food Network! In this super fun class, students team up to battle it out for the coveted title of "Best Cupcake." Learn the ropes of baking basic cupcake recipes and unleash your inner decorating genius with style and flair, all in a thrilling and competitive atmosphere. It's a challenge that will have you working together, crafting original recipes, and presenting your sweet creations to a panel of judges. No matter your baking expertise, this course is a blast for all levels of cupcake enthusiasts!

Football Camp – Anthony Ciarlello, Instructor

Phoenixville Area High School Football camp is a non-contact camp designed to teach the basic fundamentals of football and promote physical activity. The camp will be conducted by members of the high school coaching staff and members of the high school team. Our First Goal is to Have FUN and build a love of the game. Campers will receive instruction on skill development, position-specific training, fitness and conditioning, and teamwork and strategy. Campers will have the chance to put their skills to the test in simulated game situations. This might involve scrimmages against other campers or controlled game scenarios to apply what they've learned.

Girls Basketball Camp – Tracey Sterling, Instructor
(Week 4)

Join Coach Sterling and the PAHS coaching team, along with members of the PAHS Girls basketball team, to build  fundamental basketball skills, master both individual and team play and have a great time. Our court-side focus is to ensure your camper is not only learning the game but also soaking in the joy of basketball in a safe and positive atmosphere. Players will be split up into two groups - NCAA (Grades 3-5) & WNBA (Grades 6-8)

Orchestra Camp – Shawn Lee, Instructor

The Summer Orchestra Camp is an exciting opportunity for PASD string players (violin, viola, cello, double bass) to expand their instrumental skills and musical knowledge during the summer! This year’s camp will focus on large ensemble performance and will include other group and musicianship activities. Campers will building on existing skills learned during the school year, while also developing new skills all while working individually and within an ensemble. They will also engage in fun games, songs, and activities that help expand the fundamentals and elements of music addressed in all PASD music classes, and how they apply to instrumental music performance.

Softball Camp – Abdul Madyun & Dan McLaughlin, Instructors

Get ready to hit it out of the park at our Softball Summer Camp! Discover the secrets of the perfect throw, master the art of flawless fielding, and sprint your way to base with our expert coaches guiding you every step of the way. Elevate your hitting and bunting game, and dive into position-specific drills that will have you playing like a pro in no time. But that's not all – our camp is not just about the game, it's about getting in top-notch shape! Engage in softball-specific stretching, exercises, and agility drills that will leave you feeling agile, powerful, and ready to conquer the diamond.


Tennis Camp: Elementary Grades 1-5 – Summer Lindeman, Instructor

You’re never too young to pick-up a racquet. This clinic is for children going in to grades 1-5. The high school coaching staff will instruct the basic strokes, movement, and scorekeeping of tennis. The days are fun and active with the goal of starting young players on a sport they can play for the rest of their lives. For players who do not own a racquet, there will be some provided at the courts.

Tennis Camp: Middle School Grades 6-8 – Summer Lindeman, Instructor

Come enjoy learning the sport of tennis. Meet high school coaches who will teach the fundamentals of each major stroke, as well as the basics of how to keep score, court movement, and strategy. This clinic is for players going in to grades 6-8. All abilities are welcome. It is a perfect place to be introduced to the game, but also valuable for more experienced players looking to improve their technique.


TV Studio Camp – Art Carucci, Instructor
(Week 4)

Get ready for an exciting adventure into TV magic! Campers will dive into the world of television production, learning the ropes of the school district TV Studio right in the high school. Students will learn how to use studio equipment to master the process from recording to post-production. The camp includes hands-on opportunities to create studio productions both in studio and with the Phantom TV mobile production unit. The final result is a camper produced show for Phantom TV.

Volleyball Camp: Middle School Grades 6-8 – Jason Dibofsky, Instructor

Get ready to serve up some serious fun at our Volleyball Skills Camp! We're spiking up the excitement with a focus on the fundamentals – whether you're perfecting your bumps, honing those setting skills, or acing your serves, this camp is all about the basics and beyond! Current and future volleyball champs, this is your chance to come together, share the love for the game, and build a team spirit that will have you dominating the court. So, pack your gear, lace up those shoes, and get ready for a volleyball adventure like no other – where teamwork makes the dream work!

NEW in 2024! Young Running Camp – Eric Sprenkle, Instructor
(Week 2)
$20/child, $15/additional sibling

The goal of the Phoenixville Youth Running Camp is for children to experience the benefits of running as a healthy activity. The campers will learn a variety of warm-up stretches, drills, and exercises that help support running. The campers will also play running-based games (relays, tag, chases, etc.). During breaks throughout the week, the camp organizers and coaches will talk to the campers about healthy habits that can support an active lifestyle. Water breaks and healthy snacks will be provided. The camp will conclude on the last day in a ‘fun run’ with age-appropriate distances.
