VapingEducation Session on Vaping

Did you know there has been a dramatic rise in the number of PASD students who are vaping?

Join Michelle Evans from Tower Health Community Health Education and learn how parents can help educate our kids on the dangers of vaping.

November 8   7:00 pm

2019 responses to the PAYS survey were startling--
14% of all 8th graders reported vaping in prior 30 days
36% of all 12th graders reported vaping in prior 30 days

Does vaping cause young people to start smoking? Recent studies show young people who vape are 7 times more likely to become smokers one year later.

Students who are caught vaping in school are subject to suspension, mandatory participation in smoking cessation programs, and potential fines for repeat offenses.
